I attended the Cardiac Rehab program at CMI and I think it is probably the best run program in NJ. Having previously attended the same types of programs at other facilities I have found that this one is very unique and top-notch. The 360-degree focus on all aspects of the body and cardio centric education is what sets this program apart from the rest.

They educated me on a healthy lifestyle which includes exercise, heart healthy food, meditation, and stress management which are all essential to prevent any relapses and maintain a healthy heart.

The cooking classes were a great hit. I learned how to cook some delicious and heart healthy food. Danielle is a good teacher and makes cooking fun to learn.

Lastly, the team starting with Dr Singal and Gail Rodriguez with her staff of Mary, Rupal and Kathy took a personal interest in improving my health. All of Gail’s staff maintain a cheerful and fun atmosphere which is very helpful in recovery. I rate them 10 on a scale of 10.

I can confidently say that I made the right decision to attend the program considering the commuting required as it has improved both my mental and physical strength. The biggest takeaway from Cardiac Rehab at CMI was the emotional confidence and how relaxed I felt as time went on, especially being monitored as I was exercising.

The meditation sessions and healthy mindset workshops were good, and when watching videos it was good to be able to choose what might be of interest to you specifically

CMI Cardiac Rehab Staff is wonderful!! caring, encouraging and engaging….. This helps a lot when you are going through something.

The Nutrition Workshops were very engaging and helpful trying new things and easy to tweak what we already know. Dooable!!

I very much enjoyed my sessions at CMI Cardiac Rehab Program. The women who run the program are all very friendly and cooperative. They settled me into the program well and always made me feel welcome and comfortable.

The exercises that they recommended were also very well suited to my purposes. They explained clearly how to work the machines and how to do the stretching and other exercises.

The biggest take-away I have is that I continue with the exercise regimen which they introduced me to. They emphasized that this is an ongoing process and that I should not let the work I have accomplished so far be lost through future inaction. I plan to follow their advice.

It was a good experience. Looking forward to continuing care. The Cardiac Rehab program was very well done, and, although I don’t entirely agree with the Pritikin diet plan, I learned a lot from Danielle’s cooking shows and lectures. Jill, Jaime, and Natalie were great too. Learned a lot from cardio and strength training from them which I am continuing at home.

I am very pleased to participate in the Cardiac Metabolic Rehabilitation Program. It help me develop a positive schedule of exercise, diet, and mental stability workshops to support my recovery from coronary stint implant. The Cardio Metabolic Institute-Somerset has an amazing Director who will work with your availability to participate within its planned schedules. The staff is very pleasant too.
